Discovering the three dimensions of business while kayaking

I’m very fortunate to live in Vancouver, British Columbia. A couple of years ago my wife and I decided that we would explore what our own province had to offer rather than travel to another country for our summer vacation, especially since so many people from all over the world chose the province for their vacations. If it’s good for them then it should be good for us too!

A journey not to be forgotten

It’s June 7th and I finally have an opportunity to catch up on any outstanding items since my last entry. Yes, I was admonished by Emma, my very talented marketing director, who gently but firmly told me this morning that interest in this blog was rapidly waning due to my lack of posting in the past month. My feeble excuse is that I’ve been on the road for the past three weeks and have used “plane time,” nights and weekends to catch up on my regular work. In the blink of an eye

It’s conference season for me and I was in Washington yesterday at another global meeting.  I spent a fascinating day in a room with 12 of my colleagues from around the world, many of whom I just met for the first time. We were there to discuss the impact developing technologies, changes in the capital markets and demographic trends may have on our industry.
