Hello everyone! My name is Fahad and I am an Experienced Associate at the Downtown Toronto office. I graduated from McMaster University in June 2011 and am now on my way to obtaining the Chartered Accountant (CA) designation. Some of you may already know me, as I have been blogging for a while here. But I wanted to take the opportunity to introduce myself for those of you who are new here - welcome to my online world!
Prior to joining PwC, I had worked at both finance and marketing firms. However, I quickly realized that I wanted to work in a more challenging and diverse work environment, and one that would fulfill my passion for travel. That is when I decided to join PwC as a Summer Intern in 2010 and I haven’t looked back since!
What I love about PwC is the fact that I am surrounded by intelligent, competent and personable individuals that embody the same level of passion and enthusiasm for working at the firm as myself.
Having grown up in Saudi Arabia to Pakistani parents and attending boarding schools at an early age in Michigan and Canada, I bring a global perspective and understanding of cultural experiences and challenges.
This is my second year blogging for PwC and I am absolutely excited. I have been selected to blog in behalf of PwC Canada’s Audit and Assurance Group (AAG) practice so keep an eye out for the exciting and dynamic stories that I have to share about the AAG practice! What you can definitely look forward to is me keeping all my stories exciting and honest!
As always, I will be sharing my personal set of recruiting, networking and interviewing tips that you might find very helpful. Feel free to respond to my blog posts as I will happily discuss any questions or comments you might have. I look forward to blogging with you and sharing with why I feel PwC is one of the best firms to work for in the world!
Help me make this blog not about me and PwC, but rather about us and PwC!
