For the 6th consecutive year, PwC has been recognized by Mediacorp Canada Inc. as one of Canada’s Top Employers for Young People. Winners are selected based on programs they have to attract and retain younger workers including benefits and the availability of co-op programs.
Some initiatives that won PwC this honour include:
- Flexibility — PwC supports non-traditional ways of working by encouraging employees to balance their personal and professional goals, which enables them to be more creative, adaptive and effective in the way they work.
- Learning and development – Formal learning (classroom, e-learn), one-on-one coaching, mentoring, and team-based learning are part of PwC’s “teach-don’t-tell” approach to on-the-job coaching.
- Global mobility – Employees wanting to broaden their experience internationally can look to secure either short or long-term international opportunities.
- Community involvement – The PricewaterhouseCooper’s Canada Foundation hosts more than 300 Team Volunteering events for which employees can take one paid day off a year to participate in.
